A future for new women entrepreneurs with ‘yes i startup’.

Treviso, 5th October 2021 – Their names are Alessia, Anna, Carlotta, Vanessa, Audrey, Sharina, Anna, Sofia. They are less than 30 years old, they are all Italian, some of them
daughters of first or second generation immigrants and they have opened a business, between 2020 and 2021, challenging the pandemic.

, implemented by the Ente
Nazionale per il Microcredito
(ENM), in agreement with ANPAL Agenzia Nazionale Politiche Attive del Lavoro (National Agency for Active
Employment Policies), and Invitalia within the framework of the European Union’s PON IOG and PON SPAO, and aimed at young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) under 29 years of age
and, from 2021, also at the over 30s – inactive women and long-term unemployed. Through these accompanying and financing projects managed by the Ente Nazionale Microcredito (National Microcredit
Agency) and Invitalia, about 3,000 people have been trained and put to work over the last four and a half years. Almost 1500 companies have been set up, of which about 400 during the Covid period
(data calculated between 1 March 2020 and 15 September 2021), half of them led by women, 74% of whom were under 30 years of age: most of them were considered NEETs before this experience.
Veneto was one of the most active regions in participating in these projects, with 41% of women-owned businesses, born under the pandemic and today becoming examples of hope, stubbornness
and social integration.
These women’s stories, their future and the prospects of Yes I Startup Veneto, will be discussed on 7 October from 10 am in a webinar, organised by Ente Nazionale Microcredito and moderated
by the journalist Gianluca Schinaia, with the participation, on behalf of Ente Nazionale del Microcredito, of Nicola Patrizi, project manager of Yes I Startup, Giancarlo
Proietto
, the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno Dolomites, President of Unioncamere Veneto and of the Chamber of Commerce Treviso – Belluno and National Vice-President
of Unioncamere Mario Pozza, the operational coordinator Stefano Battaggia and the territorial agent Mario Crepet.
Alessia Zito and Anna Meneghetti, from Treviso and Padua, will talk about their experiences as new entrepreneurs in the Yes I Startup programme and now at the helm of a pet shop and a
clothing shop respectively. Personalities who are symbols of Veneto’s entrepreneurial excellence, such as Elisabetta Armellin (E-CODEsign) and Giorgia Caovilla (Ojour Luxury Shoes) will also be
present and will be able to provide useful advice to their young colleagues on how to become successful entrepreneurs.
