A4.
Every day now we are witnessing a war bulletin, the umpteenth fatal accidents, an unbearable situation for those who travel on this important motorway. It is no longer just a
question of infrastructure, but a question of road safety for the people who use this stretch of motorway for various reasons. As we have already said several times, while discussions are
going on in Rome, people are still dying here.
What is coming from the institutions and companies in the area is a cry of alarm over an unsustainable situation, and it also demonstrates the unity of the players in this region to get
immediate answers on the opening of construction sites and the resources needed to carry out the work. On the one hand, Veneto and consequently Italy have the problem of the Brenner Pass, which,
with the constraints imposed by Austria, is damaging to the entire country system because it hampers the movement of goods, and on the other hand there is this motorway section that creates
inconvenience for businesses and citizens.
Italy therefore needs immediate action from the government to facilitate the unblocking of the northbound traffic, which is strategic for the entire national economic system.
We hope that the Government will give a positive signal because this area and its economic system, which is a driving force for the entire country, cannot remain slaves to these 20 kilometres
of motorway.
