An important agreement has been signed between Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana, Asolo-Montebelluna and the “Einaudi Scarpa” High School, a technical-professional centre with 1714
students enrolled, thus enhancing the existing collaboration.
The shared commitment of the Institute and Confartigianato is, on the one hand, to increase students’ and their families’ knowledge of the professional opportunities offered by the artisan world,
as well as of the productive realities present in the territory, and on the other hand, to ensure that the contents and skills of the training offer are adherent to the technological, digital,
process and product standards that businesses need. Variables that are subject to constant evolution and that are crucial for companies to maintain levels of competitiveness in markets and supply
chains.
At a time when companies are looking for specialized profiles and talent in which to invest, says Vendemiano Sartor, president of Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana – the
signing of an agreement with such a qualified provincial school responds to a specific call from the world of production, that is, to make it customary for a student’s career to include training
opportunities co-designed with companies. The aim is to facilitate and create opportunities that reduce the distance between school and work, accompanying young people to discover their propensity
for entrepreneurship.
The protocol provides for:

packages of alternation school work (PCTO)-respectively of the duration of 150 hours to be carried out in the last three years for students of the Technical address and the duration of 210
hours for those of the Professional address – may be dedicated to present the world of work of small and medium-sized enterprises in the area, close to where the students reside, useful to
transfer transversal and technical skills, fundamental in the training path of young people;

experimentation with dual apprenticeships that allow students to stay in a company during their course of study, making them acquire the status of student workers;

summer internships between one school year and the next in production facilities consistent with the course of study undertaken;

testimonials of Master Craftsmen – recognition recently introduced by the Veneto region in favor of entrepreneurs with a training attitude;

technical and sector seminars, safety courses preparatory to training experiences in companies;

contributions in favor of schools to adapt the equipment of machinery in use in laboratories;

orientation tools for the labor market reserved for students close to graduation.

The constructive dialogue between schools and companies must be strengthened – says Fausto Bosa, president of Confartigianato Imprese Asolo Montebelluna – the manufacturing sector,
the one that supports the real economy and the balance sheet of the Italian company, is on the ropes due to the lack of generational change and of adequate professional figures to guarantee
competitiveness on the world stage. We are now at the emergency, if there is not a cultural change, if we do not immediately make a “social pact” we will lose those productive excellences that have
made the Made in Italy, even of our territory famous in the world for quality and creativity. In this context, families and young people must be oriented to study choices that translate into real
employment opportunities as well as personal growth.
The public school – says Prof. Fernando Fratta, headmaster of the Institute of Einaudi Scarpa High School – has a fundamental role in this period of profound changes, also dictated
by the current emergency, which will define the fate of Italy and Europe in the years to come. The role of the school is twofold: on the one hand it must form the citizens of the future, and on the
other it must offer our young people concrete opportunities to build a worthy and desirable future in work and life. For this second aspect, the school-business synergy is more necessary than ever,
and for this I am grateful to Confartigianato. I would like to say that not in all areas of Italy there is a productive fabric like the one present here; we must be aware that this is a fortune and
a great opportunity that should not be wasted. Therefore, we are honored, as the Einaudi-Scarpa Institute, to be able to collaborate with Confartigianato, in the knowledge that, as the President of
the Council of Ministers himself has said, the success of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan depends above all on schools and businesses. This operating agreement is our active contribution
to the success of Italy in Europe and in the world, with our teachers, for our young people and for our companies.
