Exhibition in Agordo
The archaeological exhibition called ‘Il Canal de Agort’ reopens for the summer season at the Geological and Paleontological Museum of Agordo in Via 5 Maggio.
The new summer opening provides an important update thanks to the display of recently restored ceramic items from the archaeological excavations carried out in recent years at sites along the Cordevole valley: Agre (Val Pegolera) and Colaz (Val del Mus), both in the Municipality of Sedico.
The restoration was made possible thanks to the important activity of cataloguing and researching the ceramic finds, carried out by members of the Association, which allowed for the reconstruction of edges, bottoms and walls of olla and dolii pots, from the two aforementioned sites, even of considerable size.
The exhibition is open on weekends from 6 July to 25 August from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
25 August from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
