Reflecting on change in the economy and society: faithful to its name and mission, the historic Academia dei Rinnovati of Asolo proposes Saturday, January 22 at 10:00 am at the
Theatre a meeting dedicated to the great challenges that are already in the present and even more in the future.

“Who does the entrepreneur answer to today?” is the title of the event, which receives the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Asolo and Assindustria Venetocentro.
Leading figures from local universities and businesses will be taking part: Francesco Favotto, Emeritus Professor of Business Economics, Giovanni Costa, Emeritus Professor of Business
Strategy, Confindustria Vice-President for Environment Sustainability and Culture Maria Cristina Piovesana, and Giuseppe Milan, General Manager of Assindustria
Venetocentro.
The Mayor of Asolo, Mauro Migliorini, and the President of the Academia dei Rinnovati, Giancarlo Zizola, will take part in the event, which will be introduced and conducted by
journalist Marina Grasso.
An in-person event (in strict compliance with all anti-contagious measures) to look at the impact, accelerated by the pandemic, of the digital revolution, the transition to sustainability, the new
globalisation, but also the gap between generations, social inequalities and demographic ageing.
What are the effects on businesses, in an area like ours which is the full expression of ‘personal and family capitalism’? How does the nature of business change, from a place of work and wealth
production to a point of reference for social cohesion? And so, to whom does the entrepreneur respond today, to return to the title of the Asolo event.
