Treviso, 27 July 2021 – Carabinieri of the Station of Dosson di Casier (TV) have reported a 29-year-old woman of Campanian origin, C.A., already known to the law, for
the crime of fraud.
The skilled swindler had replied on a classifieds site to search for a holiday home in Sardinia, falsely claiming to be the owner and inducing a 30-year-old woman from Casier (TV) to
credit her with a transfer of 500 euro as a deposit for the rental of the property, where the unsuspecting buyer would have spent her August holidays.
The house, which actually existed in the Municipality of Solanas, in the province of Cagliari, as found by the soldiers of the Arma, turned out to be owned and inhabited by third parties who were
completely unrelated to the affair.
The advice, as reiterated by Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Treviso, is to always pay attention to opportunities and initiatives very advantageous often presented with
little clarity and occasionally, remembering that attractive opportunities for purchases, even tourist packages as in this summer period, should always be properly controlled.
