On Wednesday 14 September at 8.30 pm, Palazzo Giacomelli in Treviso hosted the first appointment with the new format Contrappunti of CartaCarbone festival IX edition.
On the first Saturday of September, the ninth edition of CartaCarbone festival was officially opened with the press conference presenting the 2022 programme and the first two events dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini.
This year, CartaCarbone’s calendar of events will take place between September (3-14-21-28 September) and October (5 and 13-14-15-16 October), moving along the coordinates of a literary journey inspired by Jonathan Swift’s novel.
One of the new features of this edition is the new Counterpoints format. The calendar includes nine appointments with this presentation method, which gives more space to the authors who will take the stage with the presence of a presenter who will stimulate the meeting with alternative questions, a sound carpet, multimedia materials and readings: little room for boredom, therefore, and a lot of movement, with the aim of creating lively and lively literary salons.
Wednesday 14 evening at 8.30 p.m. at Palazzo Giacomelli, the protagonists will be Andrea Bocconi with Io, altrove (I, elsewhere), Sergio Valzania with Mai lasciare lo zaino vecchio per quello nuovo (Never leave your old backpack for the new one), and Alessandra Sarchi with Via da qui (Away from here), presented by Alessia De Marchi.
Bocconi is a writer and psychotherapist, and his book is a friendly guide that speaks of travel memories amidst scents and flavours that awaken the elsewhere within us.
Sarchi is the author of the podcast Vive! realised by Storielibere.fm and the Piccolo Teatro di Milano with Via da qui investigates the intimate bewilderment of those who seek their place in a world of acceleration and collapse.
Valzania is a historian, journalist and radio and television author. He has walked several European Ways, drawing material for his latest book, which he ironically invites us to keep. A beautiful reflection where the walk is almost a prayer, a search for happiness.
An important role in this format is played by the presenter. In this first event it will be Alessia De Marchi, a journalist who among other things loves telling stories through theatre, who will hold the strings of this new literary exploration.
