It will be delivered on Sunday at the Thanksgiving Day in Pieve di Soligo
Pieve di Soligo will host the 71st edition of the provincial Coldiretti Thanksgiving Day.
This year will be a special day because the pandemic has put a strain on the various agricultural sectors and especially the humanity of our social events – said the President of Coldiretti
Treviso, Giorgio Polegato – There will be all the important moments for our organization as the offertory of the fruits of the earth by all twelve areas of the Marca, the blessing of
agricultural machinery and the social lunch. There will also be a special prize that Coldiretti Treviso will be presenting to say thank you! I won’t reveal anything for the moment. That will be
the surprise next Sunday.
Cardinal Beniamino Stella will preside over the religious ceremony in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, together with our church councillors and Monsignor Nadal.
The Thanksgiving Day in Pieve di Soligo also honors a decisive figure for rurality and agricultural economy as that of the Blessed Toniolo – adds Polegato –
Toniolo was a sociologist and economist, master of cooperation, founder of the Social Weeks, inspirer of the Sacred Heart Catholic University.
