Another very important place for the history of the Great War is Monte Grappa, at the top of which there
are the Ossuary of Monte Grappa, the Vittorio Emanuele III Gallery and the Museum.
There are several routes that you can follow on foot, mountain bike and horseback surrounded by nature.
It is interesting to note that most of the paths were created during the First World War.
During the walks, you may encounter small mammals such as foxes, beech martens, polecats, dormice or hares; and you may see traces of the passage of chamois, deer and mouflon.
This area is ideal for immersing yourself in nature while doing physical activity of varying difficulty.
Flying enthusiasts can enjoy paragliding and hang-gliding. If you want to try free flight for the first time, you can be accompanied by experienced and qualified pilots from
different schools, Montegrappa Tandem Team e Manta Paragliding School & Store.
Look up to the sky and be enchanted by the colourful paragliders dotting the sky creating spectacular scenery.
If you are a climbing enthusiast, it is important to know that there are several routes equipped for this sport here.
In winter, with the arrival of snow, you can enjoy a charming and fascinating landscape by snowshoeing (ciàspole) or practising cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering.
Stop to discover local flavours in the malghe (shepherd’s huts), we can mention Agriturismo al Covolo at the foot
of the Massif, Rifugio Bassano Cima Grappa and Rifugio Andorsetta in Crespano del Grappa.
You can also decide to extend your holiday discovering these places by staying overnight in nearby facilities, such as Hotel Locanda Montegrappa in Borso del Grappa, Locanda alla Posta in Cavaso del Tomba and
Hotel Villa Scalabrini in Crespano di Pieve del Grappa
