Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), 8th February 2021 – Tomorrow in Cortina d’Ampezzo only the women’s super-G will be staged, the men’s race has been postponed to Thursday, instead of the
first round of the downhill, which has been cancelled.
The women’s super-G on the Olympia of the Tofane is confirmed as scheduled, with a new starting time. The race will start at 13:00 and the first competitor to put her sticks out of the starting
gate will be Italian Marta Bassino who will try to exploit the design of Italian coach Giovanni Feltrin. With n.7, the most eagerly awaited athlete of the day, Swiss Lara
Gut-Behrami, current leader of the speciality in the World Cup. There will be 44 athletes representing 23 nations.
The women’s alpine combined, which was cancelled this morning due to heavy snowfall, has been rescheduled for Monday 15th February, instead of the day off. The times for the Super-G and slalom
heats will be announced in the next few days.
