Cortina tra le Righe 2021 is the first festival of communication and culture “with credits”, created in 2005 to revalue the role of Cortina d’Ampezzo as a privileged destination
for the masters of Italian journalism. It is a wide-ranging and transversal event that over the years has grown to involve not only journalists but also numerous other professional
associations: lawyers, notaries, psychologists, architects and agronomists. Alongside the training courses, there is a full calendar of events open to the public: screenings, presentations and
excursions to discover the Ampezzo Dolomites, always in the company of special guests.
Today the festival is recognised as a high-level cultural initiative, a unique and special opportunity for study and in-depth study in a magnificent setting that allows you to experience the
beautiful territory of Cortina and the Dolomites.
A project of the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Cortina Skiworld and the Cortina Hoteliers Association, organised by the Veneto Ordine dei Giornalisti and DOC-COM.

The idea was born in 2018 with the dream of sharing a project around the great occasion that the Alpine Ski World Championships represented. Over the years the Cortina 2021 Media Committee has
grown, proving to be an absolute unicum for a major sporting event: a true privileged observatory that has given Cortina stimuli, planning and support. How to continue along this path? What remains
of this journey, where did we start from and where do we want to get to? Discussing with the Mayor of Cortina Gianpietro Ghedina, Duilio Giammaria, director of Rai Documentari,
Alessandro Russello, director of Il Corriere del Veneto, del Trentino, dell’Alto Adige, Bologna, Luca Ubaldeschi, director of Il Secolo XIX, head of Gedi special initiatives.

Opening of the exhibition by Enrico Rondoni, deputy director of TG5. A photographic journey across the highest road in the world in the high altitude exhibition space Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti.
Lagazuoi and Ladakh, two mountain ranges more than 5,500 km apart, but which have much in common, natural and human heritage.
Transport by cable car: 8 euros return.

A dialogue between Luigi Alverà, Deputy Mayor of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Councillor for Sport, and Andrea Monti, Communications Director of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, for a
special behind-the-scenes look at the path towards the most eagerly awaited event for sports fans.
Followed by lunch on the terrace (reservation required).
Transport by chairlift: 6 euros one way / 8 euros return.
