While waiting for the presentation of the complete programme, the second edition of the literature festival of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene opens with a great of the world of fiction
Cison di Valmarino, 19 April 2024 – To inaugurate the new programme of meetings of Una Collina di Libri ( “A Hill of Books”), the international literature festival of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, will be the extraordinary voice of Eshkol Nevo, the Israeli storyteller loved by millions of readers, winner of the Book Publishers Association Gold Prize, and author of the bestsellers “La simmetria dei desideri” (World Cup Wishes) and “Tre piani” (Three Floors Up).
The occasion, on Tuesday 7 May 2024 at 7 p.m. at Castelbrando in Cison di Valmarino (in province of Treviso), is the presentation – in an Italian preview – of Nevo’s new book, “Legami” (Feltrinelli): a collection of short stories that once again captivates the reader around the infinite forms of desire.
The meeting with Eshkol Nevo, interviewed by Francesco Chiamulera, with translation by Sarah Cuminetti, is free admission with booking recommended on eventbrite.it
After the great success of the first edition, A Hill of Books will bring to the UNESCO World Heritage Hills six new special appointments with the absolute protagonists of literature, journalism and the arts, from May to November. The complete programme, for which there is much anticipation, will be presented shortly.
The event, organised by the Association for the Heritage of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, under the patronage of the Veneto Region, is directed by Francesco Chiamulera, former creator and manager of the event “Una Montagna di Libri” (“A Mountain of Books”) in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
