In the fourth quarter of 2023, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period, for the Centre (+7.1%), for the North-West (+3.1%) and for the South and Islands (+1.1%) while decreased for the North-East (-1.5%).
In the 2023, compared with the previous year, exports rose in the South (+16.8%) and in the North-West (+2.7%) while dropped in the North-East (-1.0%), in the Centre (-3.4%) and in the Islands (-21.0%).
In the 2023, the more relevant increases, in terms of their contribution to the total export dynamic, were recorded in Piemonte (+9.1%), Campania (+28.9%), Toscana (+5.6%) and Abruzzo (+13.6%). More significant falls were recorded in Lazio (-11.0%), Sicilia (-19.3%), Marche (-13.9%) and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (-13.7%).
