Tuesday 16th February 2021.

Vienna at last!
We would like to remind you that tonight, Tuesday 16th February, at 8:30 pm, on the Vimeo channel of the Benetton Foundation, the second episode of the video-story dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) on the 250th
anniversary of his birth will be broadcast.
Directed by Marco Pavan, from an idea of Stefano Trevisi, consultant for the musical activities of the Benetton Foundation, the documentary recounts the life of the German
composer, from his year of birth, 1770, to the end of what scholars call “the second period” (1817).
The second installment chronicles Beethoven’s conquest of Vienna. The young musician is welcomed by the European capital of music as one of the most talented and virtuosic performers. A story
full of surprises, on the background of which move important characters, composers such as Haydn and Mozart, writers such as Goethe.
The third and final episode will be broadcast on Tuesday, February 23 at 8:30 pm, again on the Foundation’s Vimeo channel.
