38th edition of FIHAV- Havana International Fair

Imprenditoriale Cuba Italia – CICI, visiting the pavilions and stands of the companies following the opening ceremony of the 38th Havana International Fair where, on behalf of Italy, H.E.
Ambassador Roberto Vellano and the Director of the ICE office Simona Autuori were present. In attendance were the President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz Canel, the
Prime Minister of Cuba Manuel Marrero, and Ministers from various sectors such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca, Tourism, Transport,
Communications, and the Ministry of Internal Trade. Participants included the President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Antonio L. Carricardi, the First Vice-Minister of Mincex
Ana Teresita González. Also present were the directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Cuba and the ICE Havana Director.
The Ambassador of Italy in Havana Roberto Vellano invited to his residence the President of Assocamerestero and Venicepromex Mario Pozza, the Director General Franco
Conzato, the CICI President Elisabetta Pola, accompanied by the board of directors. Guests were the ICE director in Havana Simona Autuori and the Ambassador’s diplomatic
advisor. During the meeting there was an exchange of ideas and opinions to increase collaboration between Cuba and Italy. The Ambassador acknowledged the strategic role of Venicepromex and the
entire Italian Chamber System abroad for the value of the network of institutional relations and support to do good business for companies, bringing competitive advantage to the Italian
economy.
