I have personally followed the ‘GenerAZIONE2026’ project – comments Chamber of Commerce President Mario Pozza – because I believe in the importance of creating a culture on the
values that life offers us and that sport represents in many of its expressions. I am also certain that we must look to the future resources for a Veneto region that is able to meet the challenges
to continue to be attractive and ready to offer a welcome of excellence for new talents in a network of relations between institutions and the business world in view of the Olympic and Paralympic
The ‘GenerAZIONE2026 – Sport powered by Youth and education‘ project is inspired by ‘Olympism, a philosophy of life that exalts and combines, in a harmonious whole, the qualities of
the body, will, and spirit – says Franco Ascani, IOC Culture Commission Member and FICTS President. An interaction of sport, culture, and entrepreneurship has started in
Treviso and Belluno, with the coordination of the territorial context, experiences, activities, and infrastructures. This creates the right mentality for new organisational moments and a constant
promotion and development of the territory, so as to spread the values of the Olympic message with a view to environmental and social sustainability, with young people as protagonists.
Assindustria Venetocentro chose to be a partner of GenerAZIONE 2026 from the very beginning because it best enhances the virtuous collaboration between sport, business and the
territory, in view of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, of course – highlights Alberto Zanatta, Assindustria Venetocentro Deputy President for Treviso – An appointment that
is part of the initiatives of the Italian Capital of Business Culture 2022, promoted by Assindustria Venetocentro and Confindustria Venezia Rovigo.
This territory is at the top of the national rankings for sports participation, both amateur and competitive, and our Association has created an important sports club, AssindustriaSport. Our
territory boasts a world-class industrial district in the SportSystem. And there is another factor that we consider strategic: the involvement of thousands of young people in this initiative, an
opportunity to convey the values of sport and of working together for a goal.
