The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland invites you to participate, on 10 September at 11 a.m., to the Green webinar, an appointment entirely dedicated to the market of
products that can be classified as “green”
. The webinar is addressed to companies with organic and eco-sustainable food production and to wineries producing natural, organic and biodynamic
wines 100% Made in Italy.
In 2020, Italy was again the leading European country in terms of the number of organic businesses, while Switzerland is the leading country in the world in terms of organic consumption per
capita. The conditions are undoubtedly favourable for matching supply and demand, but what are the right channels? And how do you penetrate the Swiss market with your organic products?
These and other topics will be discussed at the meeting on 10 September, including:
– Demand trends
– Trends in organic consumption
– Organic importers
– Differences between large and small retailers
– Biosuisse certification
– Other organic certifications
– Focus on natural, organic and biodynamic wines
– Regulatory framework and organic specificities
The initiative is part of the True Italian Taste project, which aims to protect and promote authentic Italian products and combat the phenomenon of Italian sounding. It is promoted
and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and carried out by Assocamerestero in collaboration with the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.
During the webinar, an importer with experience in the organic and conventional sectors will speak and outline the fundamental differences in demand in both sectors.
