Johann Sebastian Bach: a genius who remained a man
Pagine d’Organo opens, as per tradition, with a monographic concert dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach, a “giant” of organ music and musical literature of all time. The pieces on the program will acquaint the audience with the daily life of a tireless genius, where the organ becomes the creative space most congenial to him to develop ideas.
On the keyboard of the great Baroque-style organ (Dell’Orto and Lanzini, 1990) will lay his hands on a performer of the highest caliber: the Dutchman Matthias Havinga, a fine organist, concert pianist and professor of organ at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
