Treviso, 18 September 2021. The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mario Pozza, and of Curia Mercatorum are again proposing the problem of the shortage of magistrates in the
courts, taking up the requests of the President of Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana, Oscar Bernardi, and of the President of the Court of Treviso, Antonello Fabbro. In the
same way, he has repeatedly addressed and reiterates here the issue of regionalisation of competitions for all public administrations.
It is an ascertained and undeniable fact that the slowness of civil and criminal cases is detrimental to the competitiveness of the economic system – points out President Mario Pozza
– for this reason the attention that Minister Marta Cartabia will devote to listening to this cry of alarm coming from Veneto, one of the locomotive regions of the country’s economy,
will be particularly appreciated.
Economic competitiveness is at risk, especially for foreign investments that cannot trust a system that can lead to immobility in commercial legal disputes.
We know that the reform of justice is one of the strategic projects planned by the Government in the PNRR, alongside, however, the undeniable need to strengthen the staff of magistrates. I
believe, – continues Pozza, – that we should consider regionalising competitions for all local administrations, such as INPS and INAIL, in order to respond to the real and specific
needs of the territories.
The competitions, as they are set up now, are national. It would be a good idea to regionalise them, – Pozza emphasises forcefully, – because even if there is an obligation to stay
for five years in the locality of the administration that launched the competition, there are ways to circumvent this obligation to stay.
If, on the other hand, competitions were regionalised, this problem would no longer exist. Consequently, there would no longer be the problem of paralysis of the activities of the public
administrations which, because of this migration of competition winners to their home provinces, are understaffed.
We all want what is good for our country, Minister, especially now that we are still experiencing the crisis caused by the pandemic. It is essential that the Government, even more so now,
listens to the voice of the territories that are responsible for reporting the specific needs, in order to relaunch together, the economy of all Italy.
