Longarone, 20 July 2021 The Chairman of Certottica, Luigino Boito, welcomed the new General Manager of Certottica, Corrado Facco, appointed by the Board of Directors at its
meeting on 7 May.
The new Director has been chosen for his high profile in order to pursue Certottica’s strengthening objectives. The new Director has been given executive powers over all the operational areas on
which Certottica’s integrated business is based.
On my own behalf and of the entire Certottica staff, – commented Chairman Boito, – I would like to express my sincere best wishes for a successful job. Certottica is a point of
reference for certification, research, standardisation and training both locally and internationally, and I believe that the new Director will be able to further develop the Institute.
Corrado Facco is a manager with extensive experience in national and international workplaces. He has also held important positions in the international trade fair system and in the luxury
sector.
He graduated in Law and began his career as strategy marketing manager at Centro Estero Veneto. From 1998 to 2004, he served as president and managing director of Monacofiere.
From 2005 to 2007 he served as general manager of EFV. From 2008 to 2010 he was senior advisor to the Messe München International Group. He also served as an independent board member and global
client director of Hangar Design Group.
From 2010 to 2016 he was managing director of Fiera di Vicenza and then held the same position at Italian Exhibition Group. He became senior advisor of Gruppo Il Tarì Scpa – Centro Orafo, and then
took on the role of CEO from 2020.
