Treviso, March 13, 2023. Preventing the infiltration of organized crime and defending good business is the goal of the signing of protocols between the Chamber of Commerce and the Prefecture.
President Pozza: A good practice that begins already in 2017 and to follow in subsequent years with the Prefecture of Treviso. In 2018, it continues with the Prefecture, the Court, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Police Headquarters, the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri and Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Treviso, always with the firm will to face with determination the defense of legality on business activities in the Treviso area, in order to maintain a healthy entrepreneurial and economic fabric and preserve the competitive capacity of businesses. Since then, the collaboration has continued fruitfully and with continuity until today, progressively strengthening the system of prevention of infiltration by organized crime, and it will still continue in the future given the signing of new protocols valid for the next three-year period 2023-2025, today with Prefect Dr. Angelo Sidoti and, also in these days, with the Public Prosecutor Dr. Marco Martani, to ensure and protect legality in our territory.
Prefect of Treviso: Thanks to the renewal of this important memorandum of understanding, the “prevention operators” of the Prefecture and the Police Forces will have an indispensable analysis tool to intercept, and therefore prevent, the possible illicit interference of organized crime in the provincial economic system.
