On the morning of Friday 24 February in Mestre, the President of Unioncamere Veneto, Mario Pozza, and the Presidents of the Northeast Chambers of Commerce met with Andrea
Prete, candidate for the presidency of Unioncamere Nazionale and currently head of the Salerno Chamber of Commerce.
During the meeting, the candidate’s programme, also supported by the Veneto Chamber system, was presented in detail. Specifically, strategic issues for the Veneto economic system were
discussed, such as, for example, the digital and ecological transition, simplification, access to credit, internationalisation, innovation and female entrepreneurship, which have always been the
demands of Unioncamere Veneto.
The President of Unioncamere Veneto, Mario Pozza, commented on the event:
It was a sign of both attention and feeling of the candidate president towards the chamber system of the Northeast. A meeting that witness the presidential candidate’s will to listen the
territories and the requests coming from them. During the meeting, it was not only presented the programme to which Unioncamere Veneto also contributed in its construction, but we also discussed
the strategic lines of action to be taken in the future in the awareness that the chamber system can and must be a link between institutions and businesses, particularly in the phase of
restarting and managing the PNRR funds.
The will to relaunch our action and reaffirm the importance of the role of the Chamber system as a fundamental support for businesses emerged, as the Covid-19 emergency recently
demonstrated.
