On July 19, 2024, the “Fondazione per la Comunità Energetica Rinnovabile – C.E.R. Dolomiti ETS” (Foundation for the Renewable Energy – Community C.E.R. Dolomiti ETS ) was officially established in Belluno.
The signing of the founding deed marks a decisive step towards energy sustainability in the province of Belluno.
The ceremony was attended by key institutional figures, including Marco Staunovo Polacco, President of the BIM Piave-Belluno Consortium; Mario Pozza, President of the Treviso-Belluno|Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce; Sergio Gallo, Technical Area Coordinator and Territory Governance for the Municipality of Belluno, representing Mayor Oscar De Pellegrin; and Claudio Dalla Palma, Deputy Mayor of Feltre.
The Foundation, a result of a collaborative initiative among various local entities, aims to manage local energy resources communally.
The members of the inaugural Board of Directors have been appointed, serving a three-year term: Antonio Daniele Barattin as President, alongside Francesca Passuello, Giovanni Gaz, Luciano Da Pian, and Marco Genova, with Valentina Barbieri serving as the Supervisory Body.
The C.E.R. Dolomiti ETS Foundation will focus on promoting:
thus contributing to a more sustainable future for the province of Belluno.
Key activities will include the establishment of collective self-consumption configurations, renewable energy sharing, monitoring of production and consumption, and access to incentives for investments in the renewable energy sector. Additionally, the Foundation will engage in organizing events, studies, and awareness campaigns to promote conscious energy consumption.
