To promote the internationalization of the Italian academic system as a center of excellence and to foster synergies between universities and businesses, offering the opportunity to place young foreign talent, trained in Italy and specialized in their respective fields, in Italian companies.
With this objective in mind, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation—Directorate General for Growth and Export Promotion, together with the ICE Agency and Uni–Italia, has launched the call for applications for the eleventh edition of “Invest Your Talent in Italy” (IYT), a program offering scholarships to foreign students from 23 different countries—Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Mongolia, Paraguay, Peru, the People’s Republic of China, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, and Vietnam—interested in pursuing, for the 2026/2027 academic year, master’s degree programs at Italian universities in the fields of Engineering, Architecture and Design, and Economics and Management. The courses are conducted entirely in English, but each student’s program includes the study of the Italian language and culture, as well as a mandatory internship at an Italian company or a trade association representative of the local area.
Dedicated to the memory of Giulia Cecchettin, the IYT program includes a seminar or training module in the fellows’ academic curriculum focused on promoting gender equality and combating violence against women.
Applicants must have been born on or after January 1, 2000, with the exception of applicants seeking to renew their fellowship.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 11, 2026.
