Treviso 20 July 2021 – “Top of the PID Mirabilia” award is back – informs the President of the Chamber of Commerce Mario Pozza – With the new 2021 edition, we aim to
reward companies that have developed or are implementing digital innovation projects, products, applications or technological solutions to promote and enhance lesser known destinations and
attractions and the restart of the tourism economy. The Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno | Dolomites, with UNESCO World Heritage sites and three Venetian villas, is part of the national
network Mirabilia.
We deploy our resources to ensure that Unesco sites benefit from digitalisation so that they are increasingly protected and known in Italy and abroad. In the first edition of the award, the
company Vanzin Selezioni stood out with a special mention, now I urge the companies of Treviso and Belluno to apply, I’m sure there will be valuable digital projects for tourism in Veneto,
the first tourist region in Italy.
There is time until 3 September to submit nominations. The initiative, now in its second edition, is the result of the collaboration between the PIDs (digital enterprise point) of 17 Italian
Chambers of Commerce and the Mirabilia Network Association.
What is Top of the Pid Mirabilia. The award was born from the union between the PID network and the Mirabilia Association of Chambers of Commerce to reward the most innovative solutions
developed by Italian SMEs to restart tourism. The initiative is open to companies registered in the 17 Chambers of Commerce, including Treviso Belluno | Dolomites, which are part of the Mirabilia
Network.
The 2020 edition has just ended and awarded three companies. First place went to a company from Bari, Nextome, which, with a project of the same name, focused on better management of space, spacing
and cleaning of indoor places. In second place was TNN Srls, an SME from Genoa, which created the Spiaggiati App to monitor the number of visitors to public beaches and the availability of parking
spaces in the vicinity of participating municipalities. Third place went to Azienda Agricola Goretti, a historic wine producer on the outskirts of Perugia, whose Smart Tasting project
focused on the development of agile bookable ecommerce tastings, with the possibility of virtual visits to the vineyards. The special mention for the best promotional video went to Vanzin
Selezioni of Valdobbiadene (Treviso).
