Treviso, 22 July 2021. The new logo of the “Protocollo Aria”, a document signed by the Provincial capitals of the Veneto Region for the sharing of policies aimed at improving air
quality, and the initiative “Attenti alle Porte”, promoted to raise awareness of eco-sustainable behaviour among citizens and businesses, was presented this morning at Cà Sugana.
The development of the brand was the subject of a specific call for ideas, launched by the Municipality of Treviso as leader of the “Protocollo Aria” with the support of
Unioncamere Veneto
, for the creation of an effective visual communication device, able to convey the values and awareness messages carried out within the two initiatives.
The participants were asked to create a work that met the requirements of simplicity, practicality and originality, readability, immediacy and reproducibility on various media and platforms. The
concept I started from is ‘clean air’, – the words of the competition winner, Maddalena Cettolin. – Since we are responsible for the quality of the air and the environment in which
we live, I wanted to play on the presence of the human profile that blows: we are the ones who decide we want to “close the door” to polluting emissions and to do so throughout the region.
The winner, who was awarded a cash prize of 3 thousand euro, received a certificate of recognition from the Councillor for Environmental Policies of the Municipality of Treviso, Alessandro
, and the President of Unioncamere Veneto, Mario Pozza.
The Environment Councillors Chiara Gallani (Municipality of Padua), Ilaria Segala (Municipality of Verona), Simona Siotto (Municipality of Vicenza) and Alberto Simiele
(Municipality of Belluno) took part in a video link-up.
The new logo will be adopted for all the shared initiatives of the Provincial capitals of the Veneto Region which, with a view to collaboration for the improvement of air quality in the Po Valley
Basin, have undertaken to manage the implementation of agreed activities in a systemic manner.
