President Pozza spoke at the European Day of Italian Excellence, Event – CRE held at the European Parliament.
This was followed by Secretary General Domenico Mauriello and Belgo-Italian Chamber of Commerce President Fabio Morvilli, who explained the role of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad and the Belgo-Italian Chamber’s services for businesses.

Following is President Pozza’s speech:
Good morning to all of you, I extend my greetings to Ambassador Stefano Verecchia and of course to the MEPs, the entrepreneurs present, colleagues.
A special greeting goes to our dean president Fabio Morvilli.
The theme we are addressing today, is an important one: Italian excellence in the European context.
We are the Bel Paese, but the Bel Paese is also of excellences, and to defend these excellences, to promote them we need to do a very important networking with Embassies, Consulates, ICE and the Italian Chamber System abroad.
The Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad have their own role, which they can develop even more to help the country system, because our goal is small businesses, their excellences, and we have to promote them in all those countries where there is a desire for Italy.
I have seen this in my travels, visiting Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad scattered around the world.
I reiterate that especially today, it is important to do this networking between national, international and institutions abroad.
Today this important day is an example, MEPs, institutions, trade associations, entrepreneurs a network that absolutely must continue.
Many people copy our products, which we must defend. It is essential that the country safeguard this specificity of ours. We do not have raw materials, we do not have the wealth of many other countries, however, we have a history, we have a culture that we know how to transmit in our products.
We personalize them, we give them a soul, and this makes sure that we get to those 650 billion in exports.
The Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad can make an additional contribution, because there is a desire for Italy around the world.
We are available, I hope as soon as possible to be even more active with all the institutions I mentioned and the national agencies, because this is our task.
A task that our Dean President Fabio Morvilli has been doing for many years with the Chamber of Luxembourg and Brussels, an excellence. I entrust him with the leadership, together with our Secretary General Mauriello, of this day.
