Treviso, 18 September 2021. – Dear School Managers, at the start of the school year I am pleased to present to you the main projects that we have defined, on the subject of Work
Orientation, designed for your students. Some of these activities are coordinated by Unioncamere Veneto, and therefore proposed to all schools in the region.
This is the beginning of the letter written by President Pozza to the school managers of the provinces of Treviso and Belluno, presenting the main Chamber projects on the subject of Work
Orientation.
The new project of active orientation and development of transversal skills “Recognise the job you want to do“, defined in collaboration between Unioncamere Veneto and the Veneto Regional
School Office, with the scientific support of Prof. Marco Ruffino, an expert in learning processes is proposed to high school students as exploratory PCTO on the evolution of labour demand
and professions. By interviewing a number of companies, the students will carry out a methodologically supported mapping of the contents of a number of professions, which will be an opportunity for
self-reflection that will also be useful for university choice.
The Virtual Job Day initiative, again coordinated by Unioncamere Veneto and carried out with the scientific support of the Department of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of
Padua (Prof. Paolo Gubitta), will be renewed for the 2021-22 school year. This project will allow students to virtually approach companies and the transformations in the workplace with
tools, applications and conversations that will help them make informed training choices
. Last year’s thematic workshops will be repeated: Circular Economy; Factory 4.0
(digitaltransformation); Agrifood; Creative Industry; Fashion, Retail and Lifestyle; Home System; Tourism and Tourists; Inclusive Society.
The Laboratory for Transversal Skills, co-designed by the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso-Belluno in collaboration with Sara Bonesso, Laura Cortellazzo and Fabrizio Gerli,
professors at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and trainers of the Ca’ FoscariCompetencyCentre. A training course on Soft Skills created with the aim of spreading awareness of the importance of
emotional and social skills to enter the labour market, and to deepen some specific skills relevant to young people in the early stages of their professional career in order to increase their
employability.
The Formashow edu-tainment meetings, aimed at high school students, will be repeated, in which the “Formashow.it” team of work psychologists will involve young people in reflections and
simulations on some typical situations of the school-work transition
(internship, university choice, job interview, etc.).
In addition to these orientation activities, there is also the Elearning Scuole platform, which is available free of charge to schools for fulfilling their training obligations under the law on
safety. The platform allows users to carry out a General Training course (4 hours) and a Specific Low Risk Training course (4 hours) online, with content developed and validated by SPISAL.
