The UN 2030 Agenda is an action programme for people, planet and prosperity, signed in 2015 by 193 UN member states, which identifies 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030. In line with some of these goals and with the European directives, Confartigianato Imprese AsoloMontebelluna, since last year, has embarked on a path of reporting on its significant activities, starting the drafting of its Social Report: today, 5 June, the Association publishes its second edition.
Using the Agenda 2030 as a guide, the Social Report 2023 has seen the AsoloMontebelluna Mandate delve into several issues, among them:
Fausto Bosa, President of Confartigianato Imprese AsoloMontebelluna: ‘Certain that the path undertaken last year is of fundamental importance for the development of people, businesses and the territory, we continue in 2024, thanks to this document, to deepen and focus our gaze on the theme of corporate social responsibility: the Social Report 2023 represents, on the one hand, a new goal for the Association; on the other, it actually sets a new starting point for the elaboration of further insights that will take shape in the document we will publish in 2025’.
‘The speed and impact of regulatory changes in governance and social and environmental sustainability demonstrate their importance not only for our reality but also for the companies and stakeholders with which the Association interfaces. Our Association stands by the companies in the area as a strategic partner and makes its skills and services available to them so that they can invest and work on these aspects,’ commented Matteo Berno, Director of Confartigianato Imprese AsoloMontebelluna.
‘Continuing along the path of internal development and structuring and the path of performance monitoring, both in social and environmental matters, will allow the Association to implement significant improvements in line with sustainable development, giving continuity to its work and active commitment in the territory and becoming more and more a guide for all those companies that wish to take this virtuous path’.
A special thanks to ANAP – Associazione Nazionale Anziani e Pensionati (National Association of Elderly and Retired Persons) – which has always been strongly committed to its members and the territory: both with its numerous initiatives in favour of active ageing, and by supporting the community and the most fragile and needy people (the disabled and the sick) in collaboration with the many associations operating in the territory.
