(Padua-Treviso-Venice-Rovigo – 05.03.2024) – Confindustria Veneto Est and Amazon are promoting “Ready, E-commerce, Go!“, for the first time in the area with a free training programme for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on Thursday 7 March 2024. The meeting will be held in Treviso at the Auditorium Fondazione Cassamarca, in Piazza delle Istituzioni 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with representatives of Confindustria Veneto Est, Amazon, Agenzia ICE, SACE, Start Magazine, and numerous companies in the area. The objective is to enhance in companies the role of digital and multichannel as a lever for the development of their business in terms also of opening up new markets.

The programme consists of the opening speeches by Carlo Scabin, President of the Agricultural, Fishing, Milling, Zootechnical Group of Confindustria Veneto Est and the General Manager of the Association Gianmarco Russo.

The speeches by Francesca Galli, ITA Ecommerce Project Manager, Gerardo Righetto, Senior Relationship Manager SME North-East of SACE and Marco Orioles, Start Magazine’s commentator on The Made in Digital Italy, focused on the importance of digital and multichannel as a lever for the development of the Italian entrepreneurial network and public support for digitalisation.

Amazon’s presence in Italy and the Veneto region will be the focus of the speech by Rita Malavasi, Amazon’s External Relations Manager in Italy, while Amazon’s tools to support small and medium enterprises will be presented by Anna Bortolussi, General Manager Brand Owner and Seller Success in Amazon EU.

This will be followed by a session dedicated to informations about selling on Amazon and the “Made in Italy” showcase, analysing its peculiarities in relation to sales in Italy and European countries, by Francesca Pellizzoni, Senior Program Manager and Martina Pistarà, Key Account Manager. The testimonies of two SMEs from Veneto, Erbecedario and Lucchetta 1953, will provide an opportunity to learn about direct experience with the digital channel and the benefits of a multi-channel sales approach.

The conclusions will be entrusted to Alessandra Polin, Confindustria Veneto Est Delegate for Internationalisation.
