Running through sunflowers at sunset: Saturday the magic of the Falcata di Villorba, over 800 registered participants

What is the flower of summer? Easy answer: the sunflower. And it will be precisely a splendid field of sunflowers that will welcome the participants in the second edition of the Falcata di Villorba (The Stride of Villorba), a running event open to all – runners and simple walkers – that will combine sport, nature and solidarity on Saturday 22 July, starting at 7 p.m. from the Nonno Andrea biodiverse farm.

The event will take place along two routes, of 5 and 10 km, which will lead participants to immerse themselves in the enchanting scenery of sunflowers at sunset. A magical, unrepeatable atmosphere for an experience that promises to involve and excite many fans of outdoor physical activity.

We are now at around 850 registered participants, but the objective is to go further, perhaps even reach a thousand, and thus exhaust the race packs that include, among other things, the splendid official t-shirt of the event in technical fabric, explain the organisers of the Asd R4C, Gian Luca Sacilotto, Fabio Simionato and Norma Pezzutto, reminding us that registration will remain open until shortly before the start.

The Falcata di Villorba has a charitable purpose: the funds collected through the registrations will be donated to the nursery schools of the Municipality of Villorba. One more reason not to miss it, in addition to the charm of an event that will celebrate nature and allow one to experience the beauty of the summer countryside. The evening will also be enriched by the enthralling music of DJ Fabriborg.

The event is promoted by Asd R4C and Avis Villorba, in collaboration with the Municipality of Villorba and the Nonno Andrea biodiverse farm.
