SAVE Group appoints Stefano Baroni as Director of Communications and External Relations

With almost thirty years of experience in the world of product and corporate communication, Stefano Baroni will join the SAVE Group as of next September, assuming responsibility for Group communication and the management of media and stakeholder relations in the territorial and national spheres.

The manager’s task will be to define corporate communication strategies in support of development strategies, with particular reference to investment plans and their impact on the reference communities.

Stefano Baroni, 56, from Padua, has a degree in Political Science with a focus on economics from the University of Padua.

In 1996, he joined Omnitel in distribution marketing, taking care of the communication of points of sale and independent commercial chains, franchising and large-scale retail trade. In 2000 he took on responsibility for marketing and communication in the Milan office and the franchising shops of Vodafone Italia. From 2002 he was in charge of Communications and External Relations North Italy of Vodafone.

In 2005, he assumed responsibility for Communication, Association Development and Operations of the territorial Confindustria (Confederation of Italian Industry) of the province of Bologna, managing the integration that took place after the merger in Unindustria between the Industrialists’ Association and the SME Association of Bologna.

Since 2010, he has directed the organisational unit dedicated to Communication and External Relations of Confartigianato Imprese Vicenza, the country’s largest employers’ association for the craft sector, with a particular focus on institutional and associative communication to support the development of the local craft sector.

He has been on the list of publicists of the Veneto Ordine dei Giornalisti since 2012.
