On 31 December 2022, there were 16,172 women’s enterprises in the province of Treviso, representing 20.3% of the total number of women’s enterprises active in the Marca – commented Mario Pozza, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno | Dolomites. More than 43,000 employees are employed in them (13.3% of the total number of employees in the province).
Compared to December 2021, female enterprises increased by +151 units, in addition to the +123 recorded in the same period last year. As regards to Belluno, on 31 December 2022 there were 2,900 women’s enterprises, representing the 21.1% of the total number of active Belluno enterprises, with almost 8,000 employees (12.7% of total provincial enterprise employees).
However, compared to last year, female enterprises are decrease by -34 units. The data demonstrate the reality of female entrepreneurship and today we reward the results of the challenges faced in following passions and dreams transformed into successes. Thanks to women entrepreneurs, women managers and administrators, the difference in business, universities, institutions and communities is highlighted.
But women are not role statistics, they work everywhere and everywhere they bring new life to our economy and value to Made in Italy.
An attitude that is absolutely coherent with the guidelines of an innovative, but sustainable economy that supports the most fragile and protects nature and its delicate balance.
This is why, as Chamber of Commerce, I consider it important to highlight and promote these new business ideas.
The successes of female entrepreneurs are an example of how Italy can be a country of excellence and innovation, even beyond the usual standards. May this award and the economic commitment in which the Chamber of Commerce invests, also be a stimulus and encouragement for other female businesses.
