Treviso, 3rd February 2020. The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno|Dolomiti and Unioncamere Veneto, Mario Pozza: A credible and convincing choice. I am really pleased that
the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has entrusted the task to Mario Draghi, a person of such great authority and depth, known and respected in the world for his choices made with
farsighted vision, during his role as President of the ECB. I hope that Draghi will lift the reservation to see him at work immediately, especially on the issue of the recovery fund, which will now
certainly be in good hands.
As a priority in his first 100 days, I hope he will look at relaunching the economy through Italian companies. Certainly not by means of scattered subsidies, as has been the case up to now, but with
aid tailored to the strategic role that small and medium-sized enterprises play in the Italian economy. The Chamber system is and will be an excellent partner in the recovery, and I hope that we can
soon make our own effective contribution.
