The President of Unioncamere Veneto, Mario Pozza, spoke on the subject of the super Green Pass: this is an important and acceptable measure because it protects work and the
economy of our territories
, which in recent months has already paid a heavy bill. The positive economic indicators, with Veneto leading the way, tell us that we must not jeopardise this
recovery, which means growth and employment.
Above all, this recovery is the result of the sacrifices made in recent months by our companies, entrepreneurs and workers, so it should not be thrown away. I am sure that companies in Veneto
are ready to apply the Super Green Pass measures to protect the health of their workers and avoid a closure that would have extremely negative effects
.
President Pozza then went on to talk about tourism – the number of infections is constantly increasing and this is extremely worrying because it risks jeopardising the upcoming winter
season, which is crucial for tourism, a sector that has been brought to its knees by the pandemic in recent months and which is already seeing numerous cancellations. This is an important signal to
protect the safety of tourists and I am convinced that our hoteliers and mountain operators are ready to enforce the rules.
It is not a question of ideology or religion on vaccines, but the government’s measure protects the work and the economic system of the Veneto and Italy, which cannot and must not stop
because this would mean the closure of activities, the loss of jobs with very negative social consequences.
