A contest of ideas and projects aimed at finding innovative solutions for experiential and community tourism. This is the Hack Fest “Piccole Patrie“, launched by the CRESCITA
social promotion association, in collaboration with SIMTUR and SHARRYLAND SB, and under the patronage of the Municipality of Treviso, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso and Belluno, Confcommercio
Treviso, CNA Treviso, Associazione Comuni della Marca Trevigiana, Fondazione Cassamarca, Fondazione Marca Treviso and Fondazione Think Nord Est, scheduled for 07 November 2021 in the new Digital
Gymnasium of the Bailo Museum in Treviso. The aim is to germinate ideas and projects for the creation, enhancement and promotion of the Small Provinces in Veneto. A qualified jury will choose the
best projects invited to the hackathon.
The call to participate in the Hack Fest is open to all citizens, associations, freelancers (developers, designers, creatives), start-ups, SMEs, voluntary groups of municipalities and
consortia, provided they are operating in the Veneto region. It is possible to participate both as individuals and in teams.
The actions that the Hack Fest “Piccole Patrie” wants to generate in all the territories of the Veneto are:
Identifying solutions to relaunch the tourism sector in the post-emergency phase.
Encourage the matching of supply and demand for goods and services, linking the public and private sectors.
To widen direct access to the tourist-cultural resources of cities, villages, territorial contexts and inland areas through the use of technology.
Differentiate and broaden the target tourists, while creating economic and social value for local communities and enhancing skills and talents.
The axes to work on in the presentation of your project are:
Digital storytelling for tourism marketing, how to enhance the excellence of the territory.
How to deseasonalise arrivals, digital transition for events and territorial circuits.
Digital animation of the local community, identity peculiarities as genius loci.
Tourism, commerce, crafts; new joint digital promotion and marketing.
How to participate?
The call for proposals is already open and applicants must submit their projects by 31 October 2021.
A commission will then select the best proposals, inviting the teams to the hackaton scheduled on 07 November from 10am to 6pm in the new Digital Gymnasium of the Bailo Museum in Treviso City Hall.
At the end of the hackaton, the 3 best projects will be awarded with the strategic, training and technological support – aimed at implementing the digital/multimedia project for the tourist
promotion of the Little Country and its enhancement through SharryLand (for a countervalue of € 2,500).
The other 7 projects will still be evaluated for the certification inspection of their Small Homeland, provided by SIMTUR. The Jury’s Special Prizes are being defined and will be published shortly
