Environment Minister Gilberto Pichetto confirmed that there will be no extension for the protected gas and electricity market reserved for households (for other uses, the protected market had already ended later in the year).
This means that domestic gas customers will have to switch to the free market by January 2024 and will then have to choose whether to keep their current operator (but with a different contract) or go to other vendors.
The same will happen in April 2024 for the domestic electricity market, where in case of failure to voluntarily switch to the free market one will be automatically assigned, without any interruption, to the Gradual Protection Service (STG) with another supplier indicated by ARERA on the basis of the outcomes of competitive procedures in which utilities linked to the protected market will be auctioned.

In particular, Confartigianato Belluno is a member of the Consortium for Energy Purchasing & Multiutility (CAEM), which includes 31 territorial associations of the Confartigianato system and just under 8,000 businesses.
Now, just as the start of the free market is approaching, a new promotion open to all citizens has been activated: for subscriptions of supplies for domestic use with AGSM partner AIM Energia spa until June 30, 2024, a card worth 50.00 euros for electricity and one worth 50.00 euros for gas will be delivered to be spent in all supermarkets of the Walber Spa group (known under the SuperW, JuniorW and WStore brands): Agordo, Belluno, Lentiai, Longarone, Lozzo di Cadore, Mas di Sedico, Santa Giustina, Sedico, Trichiana, Auronzo, Falcade, Pieve di Cadore, Tambre, Visome, La Valle agordina.
The card will be delivered directly by the territorial branches of Confartigianato and will be usable from the date of actual activation of the supply.
