According to a picture taken on June 30, 2020, the female businesses active in the province of Treviso are 15,853, equal to 20.1% of the provincial total; there are 41,577 employees, 13.2%
of the provincial total. About 60% of Treviso women’s businesses are absorbed by three sectors: agriculture (22.2%), trade (20.4%), business services (19.5%). The distribution of employees
connected to the “pink” companies brings out the weight of manufacturing activities: with over 10,700 employees, they absorb almost 26% of the total employees in female businesses; services for
individuals (19.3% of employees) and services for businesses (16.9%) follow.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno | Dolomiti, Mario Pozza: “Female businesses are an important component of our territorial economy: there are almost 18,800
between Treviso and Belluno (over 20% of the entrepreneurial fabric of the two provinces, which amounts almost 93,000 company headquarters).
There are nearly 50,000 employees, about 13% of the total employees in the two provinces, which we recall amount to almost 375,000 employees.
But the most interesting thing that emerges from the analysis is that in the last five years female entrepreneurship has been growing significantly even in the advanced service sector,
as well as in sectors where, historically, the incidence of “pink” companies is higher”.
