The final will be held in the Sala Borsa of the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso and Belluno | Dolomiti starting at 4 p.m.: the winners of the three sections of the competition will be
present, Giovanna De Sensi Sestito and Tonino Ceravolo curators of “La montagna calabrese”, Carlo Pizzati author of “La tigre e il drone. Il continente indiano tra divinità e
robot, rivoluzioni e crisi climatiche” (The Indian continent between divinities and robots, revolutions and climatic crises), Giacomo Bonan author of “Le acque agitate della patria.
L’industrialializzazione del Piave (1882 – 1966)”. To one of them, with live voting and counting, the popular jury of 40 readers will award the additional prize of €3,000. The Jury’s Special
Prize will also be awarded to Fernando Gentilini, author of “Tre volte a Gerusalemme”.
The Honoris Causa Prize will instead be awarded to Brunello Cucinelli, the Umbrian designer recognised as the “king of cashmere”, who sees his company not only as a producer of wealth, but
as a sphere of action for developing and increasing the dream of a capitalism that values man.
The Gambrinus Prize “Giuseppe Mazzotti” lands in Treviso: the final of the XXXIX edition 2021 will take place on Saturday 20th November at 4.00 p.m. in Sala Borsa of the Chamber of
Commerce of Treviso and Belluno | Dolomites, a few metres from Palazzo Scotti, for a long time seat of the Provincial Tourist Board that Bepi Mazzotti, inspirer of the prestigious competition “for
books on mountains, mountaineering, exploration – travel, ecology and landscape, traditional craftsmanship and Window on the Venetian civilisation”, directed for 37 years.
During the ceremony, awards will be presented to Giovanna De Sensi Sestito and Tonino Ceravolo, editors of “La montagna calabrese” (Rubbettino Editore, 2020), the winning work in the
“Mountain: culture and civilisation” section, Carlo Pizzati, author of “La tigre e il drone. Il continente indiano tra divinità e robot, rivoluzioni e crisi climatiche” (Marsilio, 2020), a
book that won the podium in the “Esplorazione-Viaggi” section, and Giacomo Bonan, who wrote “Le acque agitate della patria. L’industrialializzazione del Piave (1882 – 1966)”. (Viella Editrice,
2020), a volume selected in the “Finestra sulle Venezie” section.
Fernando Gentilini, author of “Tre volte a Gerusalemme” (La Nave di Teseo, 2020) will receive the Special Jury Prize.
The final will also be an opportunity to present the 2020 Honoris Causa Prize to Brunello Cucinelli, the Umbrian designer recognised as the “king of cashmere”, who sees his company not only

During the ceremony, the Readers’ Council, made up of 40 personalities from various cultural spheres in the Triveneto, will assign the “La Voce dei Lettori” Super Prize of €3,000.00 to one of
the three winners of the three sections of the competition through live voting and counting.
The Gambrinus Giuseppe Mazzotti Prize for the Chamber of Commerce is a cultural project vision to grow together and make a territory grow – underlines the President Mario Pozza – I
am pleased that the Chamber of Commerce is the theatre of the event. We look forward to finding out, live on Saturday, who will be the winner of the “La Voce dei Lettori” Super Prize.
Admission to the ceremony is free of charge and reservation is required.
To attend, you must have a Green Pass, or a Covid-10 negative rapid molecular or antigen test performed within 48 hours of the event. The event will be run in compliance with measures to
contain and counter the spread of Covid-19.
