Description
In Venegazzù of Volpago del Montello, at the slopes of the homonymous riviera, in the heart of Alta Marca Trevigiana (north of Venice), extend the 60 hectares of vineyards of Azienda Agricola Conte Loredan Gasparini.
Founded in the 1950's by Count Piero Loredan, direct descendant of the Doge of Venice Leonardo Loredan (who chose the territory of "Vignigazzu" to establish his residence in a splendid Palladian villa), the winery passed to the current owner Giancarlo Palla in 1973.
Since the beginning, the founder planted in the estates the vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec in order to produce wines of high quality, adopting as a production philosophy (which is still a firm point of the winery) the respect and the deep appreciation of the bond between grape and territory.
