On July 13, the IACC hosted a practical information session in collaboration with the Small Business Administration titled “Access to Capital,” during which
Economic Development Specialist Man-Li Lin instructed participants about the different loan options available to small businesses. Attendees learned how to
prepare for the application process and gained insight into what lenders look for in a loan application.

Last month, the IACC took part in the National Grocers Association’s DRE Meeting in Stowe, Vermont. Executive Director Federico Tozzi and members Pomì,
Garofalo, Ruffino Estates, Monini and Coop Italia presented to attendees, sharing research, industry insights and emerging trends in the Italian gourmet and
specialty food products industry. Participants took advantage of a robust program of activities and events geared toward giving them a competitive advantage
in the grocery retail marketplace and learned about a variety of PDO/PGI products from Italy though the IACC’s True Italian Taste Initiative.

IACC Member, eMazzanti Technologies, a leading NYC area business technology and cyber security expert invites fellow members to join them at a selection of

Join us at 12 p.m. on September 14 for “Writing a Business Plan,” a step-by-step primer on business plan basics presented by SBA Economic Development
Specialist Man-Li Lin. During this practical session, you’ll learn how to structure a compelling business plan by viewing a variety of formats and examples
and will also learn more about the resources and assistance available to small businesses through the SBA’s resource partners: SCORE, SBDC and WBC.

Net income for the 2022 second quarter was a record $339.2 million, or $5.26 diluted earnings per share, versus $214.5 million, or $3.57 diluted earnings per
share, for the 2021 second quarter. The increase in net income for the 2022 second quarter, versus the comparable quarter last year, is primarily the result
of an increase in net interest income, fueled by strong average deposit, loan and securities growth, as well as higher interest rates.
