IACC Spotlights the Veneto Region During True Italian Taste Master Class



International Specialty Food Summit – Every Wednesday in March

The IACC’s 3rd annual International Specialty Food Summit (ISFS) will take place over the course of five weeks during the month of March. Organized in collaboration
with the Academy of Food Marketing at Saint Joseph’s University, the ISFS is an exclusive forum for food industry executives to explore emerging and future trends,
merchandising techniques, innovation, and customer engagement in international specialty food retail through the expertise of an incredibly diverse slate of
international food experts.

During this five-part webinar series, prominent industry experts will delve into trends, issues and opportunities in the international specialty food industry including
supply chain challenges, e-commerce growth, and consumer buying habits in a post-COVID world. The event’s audience is comprised of buyers and grocery executives from
major U.S. retail chains such as Kings, Pathmark, ACME, Key Food, Wawa, Weis and Giant as well as C-level executives from major CPG companies such as General Mills,
Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark, Bayer, and Kellogg to name a few.

Master Class Tuscany – March 23, 2021

Join us on a virtual culinary tour of Italy’s Tuscany region during our Master Class “Boot” Camp tasting session. Participants will embark on a journey of discovery of
Tuscany’s PDO and PGI products and will delve into the characteristics and qualities that define these products, as well as the geographic significance associated with
their production and unique characteristics. Taught by renowned food industry experts, the class offers a “deep dive” into PDO/PGI products from Tuscany and features
simple recipes that you can recreate at home!

The Ripple 4.0 – March 30, 2021

Join us for the fourth installment of The Ripple,” the largest online networking event for the transatlantic business community. The Ripple is a one-of-a-kind initiative
organized by the international business community to tackle the growing demand for meaningful online connectivity. This special session is open to IACC members and
members from the binational European chambers of commerce in the U.S.



New Year Kick Off Event – February 3, 2021

On February 3, the IACC officially kicked off its full slate of activities, events and initiatives for 2021 from the showroom of IACC member and contemporary Italian
furniture company Poliform. The event allowed attendees to connect with fellow members and share ideas and suggestions with the IACC’s staff and President Alberto
Milani. Thanks to Poliform for helping us start the year off in style!

PPP Loan Forgiveness – February 12, 2021

On February 12, the IACC hosted a practical information session with Man-Li Lin, Economic Development Specialist for the Small Business Administration. Ms. Lin provided
attendees with helpful tips and instructions on the process for requesting full forgiveness for first and second round PPP loans. Attendees learned the ins and outs of
the application process and were able to get real-time answers to their questions about the SBA’s portfolio of relief programs.

Master Class Veneto – February 16, 2021

During our most recent Master Class Boot Camp session, participants were led on a guided exploration of the flavors of Italy’s Veneto region by a panel of culinary
professionals including Jackie Rothong (Culinary Producer, Food Stylist, Recipe Developer and Chef/Brand Ambassador for Viking Range), Riccardo Orfino (Exeutive Chef at
Osteria 57 and Alice New York Restaurant) and Francesco Lupo (Food Marketing Specialist). Viewers learned about PDO and PGI products from Veneto and cooked along as our
chefs transformed these authentic Italian ingredients into a delicious
Prosecco Roasted Tomato Risotto
and a
Castelfranco Radicchio and Asiago Pasticcio
