Italian Flavors: A Culinary Collective Delegation at the NGA Show in Las Vegas – March 10-12
From March 10-12, a delegation comprised of some of Italy’s top food and beverage brands will travel to Las Vegas to exhibit with the IACC at the annual NGA Show, organized by the National Grocers Association. The IACC will be joined by members including Bindi, Consorzio del Parmigiano Reggiano, Coop Italian Food North America, Garofalo, Monini, Pomì and Resi who will exhibit together as “Italian Flavors: A Culinary Collective.”

As part of the NGA Show’s educational programming, Coop Italian Food’s Commercial Director Paolo Bonsignore will lead a session entitled “International Case Study: A Revolutionary Approach to Private Label,” during which he will share how Coop drove customer loyalty and doubled its private label market share from 26% to 50% in just 4 years. In addition to exhibiting at the show, the IACC will host members of the trade at Canaletto Restaurant for “Buy, Eat, Live Italian,” an exclusive tasting dinner and brand showcase featuring a specially-developed tasting menu curated by Chef Massimiliano Lanzafame.

WEBINAR: Empower Women-Owned Small Businesses – March 14 @ 11 a.m.

Join the IACC and SBA Economic Development Specialist Man-Li Lin on March 14 at 11 a.m. for “Empower WOSB,” a virtual workshop designed to provide female entrepreneurs with practical information and tools to help them build their businesses. During the program, we will discuss programs and assistance for women-owned businesses and learn about the Women-Owned Small Business and Economic Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business certifications for government contracting.

Aperitivo Italiano “Refer-a-Friend” Social – March 27 @ 6:30 p.m.

Join us on March 27 at the Spring Place Restaurant to mingle and get to know other IACC members over drinks as you enjoy the ambiance and view from Tribeca’s swankiest members-only club.

We will explore the benefits of IACC membership and share detailed information on the services we offer while creating the perfect platform for new members to connect. WEBINAR: Grants for R&D: SBIR and STTR – April 16 @ 11 a.m.
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are highly competitive programs that encourage domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) with the potential for commercialization. By including qualified small businesses in the nation’s R&D arena, high-tech innovation is stimulated, and the United States gains entrepreneurial spirit as it meets its specific research and development needs.

On April 16, members are invited to join Man-Li Lin, Economic Development Specialist for the Small Business Administration (SBA), for an informative workshop during which participants will learn about several aspects of the SBIR and STTR programs, including: the funding phase process, eligibility requirements, the SBA’s role, participating federal agencies, online tutorials and the tips of proposal writing.

Membership Town Hall Meeting – April 24 @ 11 a.m.
Do you know someone interested in IACC membership? If so, invite them to join us for our membership town hall meeting! We’ll walk participants through the IACC’s membership levels, benefits and services and will have the opportunity to hear directly from long standing members who will speak about their experience with the IACC and share how they benefit by being a part of our community.
