ITA Airways Launches Blue A330neo and New Campaign for North American Market
ITA Airways is excited to announce that the first Airbus A330-900 with new blue livery has been moved out of the hangar at the Airbus Final Assembly Line in Toulouse. It bears the name of Gelindo Bordin, 1988 Seoul Olympic champion and the first Italian gold medalist in the five-ring marathon. The introduction of the Airbus A330neo in ITA Airways’ fleet will be another important step toward sustainability. Lighter, quieter, and more efficient, the new A330neo will benefit from a 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat compared to previous generation aircraft.

At the same time, ITA Airways continues to invest in its intercontinental network, launching a new communications campaign with a focus on the North American destinations of Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington. Overall, the goal of these multi-channel advertising campaigns is to continue growing awareness towards the ITA Airways brand and support local commercial efforts.  On the creative side, the messages aim to create a direct link between the airline and Italy,
mixing beautiful and inspiring images of Italy with the corporate blue of the brand.
