WEBINAR: Investing in America – July 9
In partnership with the Small Business Administration (SBA), the IACC recently presented “Investing in America,” an in-depth exploration of section IIA of the Biden Administration’s Investing in America agenda, which deals with contracting, subcontracting, rebates, and grants for small businesses. SBA Economic Development Specialist Man-Li Lin walked participants through an overview of IIA and explained how to take advantage of a variety of incentives and programs offered by the federal government.

WEBINAR: ABCs of the J-1 Visa – July 22
Prospective exchange visitors and host companies joined us on July 22 for an instructive and interactive information session highlighting the ins and outs of the IACC’s J-1 Exchange Visitor Program. Participants learned about a variety of topics, including eligibility requirements, the application process, roles and expectations of host companies and exchange visitors, and available occupational fields. They also had the opportunity to hear directly from current host companies and exchange visitors about their experiences.

Italian Wine Educational Workshop at Royal Wine
Royal Wine, a family-owned producer and distributor of high-quality kosher wines, liqueurs, and spirits, recently invited IACC Executive Director Federico Tozzi to their New Jersey headquarters to lead an educational workshop on the wines of Italy. Federico presented an overview of Italian wine classification and appellation terminology before taking participants from Royal’s marketing and sales teams on a journey through Italy’s top production regions, highlighting the best known varietals and products from each.
