WEBINAR: Marketing Strategies with Neuromarketing Concepts – October 2 @ 11 a.m.
During this fascinating workshop co-organized with the Small Business Administration (SBA), participants will delve into the emerging field of neuromarketing, the study of the brain to predict and potentially even manipulate consumer behavior and decision making. SBA Economic Development Specialist Man-Li Lin will help participants gain a greater understanding of how neuromarketing efforts can help inform creative advertising, product development, pricing, and other marketing areas.

IACC and Banca Populare di Sondrio Join Forces to Strengthen Commercial Ties Between Italy and the U.S.
The IACC is pleased to announce that it has recently signed a partnership agreement with Banca Popolare di Sondrio, one of Italy’s first cooperative banks founded in 1871, aimed at supporting both Italian companies in their commercial expansion on the U.S. market and U.S.-based companies that have business interests in Italy.
Through this newly-minted collaboration, the IACC will assist Banca Popolare di Sondrio’s corporate clients in approaching and strengthening their presence in the U.S. through a complete suite of market entry, education and research services, while the bank will actively promote the IACC’s events and initiatives in Italy among its network of business clients.
Exchange Visitor Spotlight: Lorela Mehmeti, Knowledge Futures
Meet Lorela Mehmeti, one of the IACC’s J-1 exchange visitors, who recently completed a six-month research internship at Knowledge Futures, an independent nonprofit organization founded as a partnership between the MIT Press and the MIT Media Lab. During her internship, Lorela expanded her professional network, gained insights into the evolving academic publishing landscape, and deepened her understanding of emerging industry trends in the U.S. She adapted to a non-European corporate environment, acquiring intercultural skills and proficiency in digital collaboration tools like Airtable and Slack. Lorela credits her training program with enhancing her communication abilities, teaching her to navigate professional interactions with a North American mindset and further developing a global perspective. She is grateful to Knowledge Futures and to the IACC for the opportunity to pursue on-the-job training in the U.S., which she feels “significantly contributed to [her] professional and personal growth, opening up new avenues for future endeavors.”
