On April 13, the Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a webinar to promote the international business development of Cearį companies in the Italian and European markets.
The webinar was part of the International Virtual Business Tour of Clothing, Textiles and Footwear, created in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to encourage the inclusion of small Brazilian companies in international trade. The virtual and free event, which lasted until Thursday 15, aimed to expand the business of companies throughout the Northeast for the international market.
The tour is part of the event Cearį ao Cubo, an initiative of the Government of Cearį, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor (Sedet) and the Agency for Development of the State of Cearį (Adece).
The Chamber could not fail to participate in this initiative, understanding the weight of the project and the importance of the Northeast, a region fully included in our area of operation, and especially Cearį, where we have a specialized delegation ready to develop bilateral trade promotion.
For this reason, we presented our activities and services in the webinar, which for more than 70 years has been helping importers and exporters to make business between Brazil and Italy possible, often making the Belpaese as the gateway to the European market and Brazil as the gateway to the Latin and South American market.
In this sense, President Alessandro Barillą stressed the importance of the Chambers of Commerce as facilitators of foreign trade processes, reducing logistical and human costs and expanding the business horizons of companies of all sizes.
For this reason, Barillą underlined the advantages of joining the Italian Chamber, which include participation in a global networking network, reduction of service costs and entry into a selected group of indications, which promotes complementarity of services for members.
