29 July 2021 - The Board of Unioncamere Veneto has appointed Giuseppe Riello, president of the Verona Chamber of Commerce for the second term, as vice-president of the Association of Veneto Chambers of Commerce. Riello already held this important role in the previous mandate and will remain in office until 2024.
Giuseppe Riello, born in 1965, Pilade Riello's third son, has lived the experience of the large family business since his youth. He graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and then obtained a master's degree in IT at CUOA. As well as being a member of the Board of Riello Industries Srl, he has worked for many years in other family businesses, including as a Director of RPS SpA (Riello UPS) and Ghibli & WirbelSpA (professional cleaning machinery sector).
Since 2005 he has also been involved in association activities in his city: he has held various positions in Confindustria Verona, which recently confirmed him as Vice President. Since 2018 he has also been Vice President of the Fondazione Arena di Verona.
The President of Unioncamere Veneto, Mario Pozza, commented on the appointment as follows: This is recognition of the work and commitment Giuseppe has put in over the years in his role within the chamber system. The Chambers of Commerce of Veneto have always demonstrated their ability to work as a team, particularly in these difficult months of health and economic emergency. I wish him all the best in his work and I am sure that we will succeed in achieving the objectives we have set ourselves for the coming years.
