The Chamber of Commerce has been committed since 2014, as a network partner of the Veneto Region, to the issue of environmental sustainability, now addressing, with significant commitment, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. I believe that the participation of the public and private sectors in taking a common direction towards environmental sustainability, allows to concretely implement virtuous, widespread and replicable behaviours. The two meetings "Municipalities at work with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - Networks and tools for more sustainable municipalities", the first of which will be hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, are moving in this direction. I invite you to take part in it as an excellent opportunity to meet and facilitate a certainly constructive dialogue on the subject of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, - President Pozza pointed out.
As part of the RSIt Project - Networks for the Sustainability of Enterprises in the Veneto Region, of which the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso - Belluno is a network partner, Unioncamere Veneto, in collaboration with ANCI Veneto and Veneto Responsabile, invite the Municipalities of Veneto (as actors that play an important role in contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the 2030 Agenda on the national territory), to participate in the initiative "Municipalities at work with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - Networks and tools for more sustainable municipalities", two seminar appointments that aim to make available to them:
- concrete experiences of networks and virtuous municipalities that can raise awareness of their commitment to environmental, social, cultural and economic sustainability;
- a moment of direct confrontation to share sustainable development projects also to be developed in a network;
- useful tools to map the municipality's sustainability commitment and to plan a development path in line with the 2030 Agenda.
The 2 seminars, financed by the project RSIT - Networks for the Sustainability of Enterprises in the Veneto Territory (DGR n. 816/2019), will be held in presence; participation is free and each event will be developed in a Plenary Session and in a Parallel Session, characterized by working tables dedicated to the environmental, social, cultural and economic sustainability of municipalities on the basis of the 2030 Agenda.
The events are mainly addressed to the Councils of the Veneto Region Municipalities and to the Managers of the Environment and Social Services, but they are also open to all interested citizens, in order to encourage and stimulate an active participation of citizens in the dialogue with the local administrations of the territory, sharing ideas and proposals for a concrete sustainability and developing possible synergies.
The first event will be held, in presence, on Friday 15 October 2021, from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Conference Room of the Chamber of Commerce Treviso - Belluno (Piazza Borsa 3/B).
Seating is limited (50 seats compared to the usual 199) and it is possible to register until Wednesday 13 October 2021.
The second event will be held, always in presence and at the same time, on Thursday 21 October 2021, at the Sala Aria of the Alla Stanga Conference Centre (Piazza Zanellato 21 Padova) and it will be possible to register until Tuesday 19 October 2021.
In compliance with the health regulations in force, to participate in the event it will be necessary to show the Green Pass.
