Occupational profiles:
Bachelor’s degree graduates may work as interpreters, experts of commercial relations with domestic and international markets, translators, tour guides, cultural mediators and linguistic mediators in schools. The Degree course is an innovative programme, the first in Italy of its kind in the economics and business management. Designed in partnership with H-Farm, the course trains digital transformation specialists capable of creating innovative start-ups or providing support to private and public companies, in Italy or abroad, in the digital transformation and innovation of business models.

Taught entirely in English, the course offers an immersive and interactive learning experience with an interdisciplinary pathway, problem- and project-based teaching, a rich programme of extra-curricular activities (for example workshops on soft skills and on wide-ranging topics such as geopolitics, presentation design, public speaking and interaction design). The course is distinguished by the continuous interaction between students, teachers and innovative start-ups and the engagement of important lecturers expert in the fields of transformation and digital innovation. The course provides a high degree of professional training: from this point of view, the project work that concludes the course has a significant weight in the curriculum and is undertaken at innovative companies affiliated to the Ca’ Foscari and H-Farm networks. The proximity and direct participation of the companies, with particular reference to startups and innovative companies of the H-Farm ecosystem, will facilitate the job placement of students. The degree course is sited on the Ca’ Foscari campus located in Roncade, at the H-Farm Education facilities.

Moreover, they may be employed as interpreters of Italian sign language or as linguistic mediators in schools, hospitals and other communities.

Biotechnologies for Sustainable Development and the Environment Treviso Language: Italian;

Occupational profiles
This master’s degree course provides a preparation that can then be used in the following professional profiles: Business manager for environmental and energy aspects; Company manager for the management of the water cycle; Corporate manager for waste management; Developer and evaluator of circular economy implementation projects.
The degree in the LM-8 class (industrial biotechnologies) also allows graduates to work as biologists and biochemists, subject to them qualifying as such.

A course that fits perfectly in the Veneto territorial context, a region ranking at the top in terms of volume of wine production on a national scale. With an approach dedicated to the sustainability and eco-compatibility of products, the proposed training path will offer you a complete vision of the activities and problems of viticulture, exploring in depth the issues related to the vines cultivation and grapes processing, the marketing of wine and spirits and their responsible consumption. This training will allow you to carry out management and control activities for the cultivation and production of grapes, their transformation into wine and derivatives and their conservation and distribution, as well as prepare you for the profession of winemaker.

Campus in Conegliano (Province of Treviso) The Master’s in Viticulture, Oenology and Marketing will give you a solid and in-depth academic preparation in the fields of economy applied to the wine-making industry and vine-growing, wine-making, oenology and quality control pertaining to grape production and transformation, and marketing the finished products. The Course develops high-level knowledge and skills, to enable you to work efficiently in the labor market.
The inter-University (Udine, Padua, Veron and Bolzano) Master’s in Viticulture, Oenology and Marketing is part of the international EMaVE-Vinifera Consortium. With its partners (SupAgro Montpellier, France; Hochschule Geisenheim University, Geisenheim, Germany; Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain; Universidade Politecnica in Lisbon, Portugal, and the Universities of Turin, Milan, Palermo, Sassari, and Foggia in Italy), it awards the European Master in Viticulture and Oenology. In the first year lessons are held in English at the University of Montpellier. In the second year, students complete their preparation at one of the other partner universities.
Graduates of this Course will find important positions in the vine-growing and wine-producing industries, where they will have decision-making roles in management and consultancy.

The health care assistant is a professional who is not concerned with curing but with preventing certain types of illness (such as infectious, chronic-degenerative or occupational illnesses) and maintaining the health of the person as a whole. This course will enable you to acquire knowledge (concerning general medicine and specialised clinical, psycho-pedagogical, socio-sanitary and organisational subjects) useful for carrying out the profession; the practical approach will enable you to understand how to identify health needs, how best to plan prevention and health promotion activities also in relation to the social, cultural and environmental context. In the prevention of diseases of the mouth and teeth, in addition to the dentist, the dental hygienist is also involved, a health professional whose task is to promote and improve the patient’s oral health: not only teeth cleaning and teeth whitening, but also education of the population, non-surgical periodontal therapy and much more! This course will enable you to acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to be able to work in this profession and you will have the opportunity to deal with related and complementary subjects during your academic career (in the fields of psycho-pedagogical sciences, health management, ethics and deontology). Over the last century, the mortality rate during childbirth – of both mother and child – has declined steadily, which is also reflected in the quality of healthcare provided. In addition to doctors (such as the gynaecologist) and nurses, a central role in the delivery room is played by the midwife, who provides support at the time of delivery. In this course you will learn the basic knowledge about female anatomy, physiology and pathology of childbirth; the practical approach will prepare you to conduct and carry out natural and induced births, to provide care for the newborn and the mother, to prepare and support gynaecological interventions, and to practise any manoeuvres in an emergency. Hearing Aid Techniques

In an increasingly ageing society, problems related to hearing loss become more apparent, with the need to use hearing aids to solve the problem. If you are interested in the provision, fitting and monitoring of hearing aids, this course will enable you to learn the basics of how hearing and hearing aids work, to get to know and apply (through an important practical approach) modern technologies in the field of hearing rehabilitation, and to use the appropriate tests and instruments to check the effectiveness of the aids; you will also cover transversal topics of psychology, IT and management. With this course you will be able to enter the working world directly, mainly in private facilities, acting independently on doctor’s orders.

Prevention techniques in the environment

If you are interested in working in a multidisciplinary context that deals with improving the safety of workers in the working world and the environment around us, this course will enable you to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to identify the causes of work-related illnesses and methods to prevent them; it will also enable you to assess the hygiene and quality of food of animal (and non-animal) origin, beverages and cosmetic products; you will learn to carry out prevention and surveillance activities in the workplace, acting within risk assessment processes. You will be able to enter the world of work directly by carrying out your activity either as a freelancer or as an employee (as a manager/safety officer in a private facility or in the prevention, control and surveillance services in a public facility).

Combined Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Course in Medicine, Treviso

A recently launched course based in Treviso that consolidates the educational offerings of the University of Padua and the Padua Medical School, responding to national work requirements. This course will enable you to progressively build the knowledge and skills necessary for the profession, starting from a solid biomedical foundation in the three-year pre-clinical course and then moving on to clinical-diagnostic aspects in the three-year clinical course, with internship periods activated from the first year; furthermore, if you are interested in research, this course will also give you the opportunity to carry out translational research experiences. The course will give you access to specialisation schools in the medical field and allow you to enter the world of work in public or private facilities (also as a freelancer), working both independently and as part of a team.
